Baysprings
Baysprings is a newer community in west Airdrie, adjoining Bayside within the West Airdrie canal district. The City groups Bayside, Baysprings and Bayview together as one recognized neighbourhood, while the MLS treats Baysprings as its own subdivision. It was planned as a community of roughly 60 acres, and its housing mixes single-family homes with semi-detached homes, townhouse developments and a medium-density multi-family complex.
Like the rest of the West Airdrie CASP, Baysprings shares the district's interconnected waterways, pathways and linear parks, and four parks sit within the community itself, two of them kept as undisturbed natural areas. Construction ran through the 2010s and into the 2020s, so the streets are recent without feeling raw. For buyers, Baysprings is the newer entry point into the canal district — the Bayside waterway lifestyle in a more recently built community, at price points local comparisons describe as more accessible than the established canal streets.
